Locals Walk AGAINST Solar Desert
On June 8th 2025 locals from Sturton-le-Steeple and surrounding villages walked the beautiful landscape at risk of being turned into a Solar Swamp.
Over 30 people and their four legged friends walked the 5 mile route through prime agricultural land that RES propose is a suitable site for a "Solar Farm".

The Results Are In!!
The results of our community engagement questionnaire are in and the results speak for themselves.
Our dedicated team spent hours distributing leaflets throughout the affected parishes and speaking to many local residents. Of the 1000 leaflets distributed, we were blown away by the response from 745 people, 99.2% (739) of respondents agree that Fields ARE for Farming.
